Dear Licensees, |
| |
On December 31, 2024, the DVD Format/Logo License (2020-2024) expired and our Licensing program, started from 2000, has ended. We thank you for your cooperation and support for our Licensing programs for the past decades.
On the same day, DVD Format/Logo Licensing Corporation (DVD FLLC) ceased its business operations and will be dissolved on January 31, 2025.
DVD Format Books (DVD Specifications) will be deposited to the National Diet Library (NDL), Japan (https://www.ndl.go.jp/en/index.html) as technology assets, early 2025.
This website will be closed at the end of March 2025. We thank you again for your warmest support and wish you continued success.

Upon termination of the License on December 31, 2024, the website will cease operations. Current Licensees will be notified of “the scheme that enable any Licensees to manufacture DVD products without “License” on and after January 1, 2025”. |

Dear Licensees, |
| |
On December 31, 2024, the current DVD Format/Logo License ("License") will expire. On the same date, our Licensing program, which originally started from 2000, will be terminated. There will be no new License program available and thus no License renewal is required. |
|
Currently we are preparing the scheme that enables any Licensees to manufacture DVD Products without "License" on and after January 1, 2025. Details of the scheme will be announced in due course. |
